Ed is a retired Air Force officer, former Navy veteran and former Texas peace officer who works as a government contractor on flight simulation training systems. He is a native of Dallas, Texas. His hobbies include flight simulation, martial arts, hunting and writing. He has an active interest in history, science, astronomy and physics, and writes in several genres including westerns, military fiction, military sci-fi, fantasy and action-adventure. He is also a colonial re-enactor and member of the Coalition of Historical Trekkers and re-enacts the colonial longhunter. He plays 6 and 12-string guitar and specializes in the music of John Denver. He currently resides in Newport News, Virginia.
